Ragnarok roams

A light appeared in a dense valley suddenly. It unfurled itself and became a large, yellow wolf. As the light disappeared from him, the darkness of the night took over. The wolf looked around slightly, his ears swiveling to pick up every sound. He smiled at the smell of the forest, then he began walking around, his paws silent. As he walked, a flowers bloomed around him as he emitted light to them. He looked down at them and smiled, then glanced up into the trees. As Ragnarok came to a clearing, he paused for a moment to look around. He was standing on a high ridge overlooking a large valley, surrounded by trees as a river ran through it wildly. Ragnarok smiled at the sight. The true beauty of this world...

Ragnarok glanced to his right slightly. A squirrel had jumped from its tree onto the ground. He watched it silently, thinking of catching it, but he left it alone instead. The god continued moving along the ovehang's edge. He swerved through trees and over obstacles silently. He stopped at another point and looked out across the countryside. It looked the same, just a different angle. The sun was beginning to rise, suffusing the sky with colors of oranges and reds. He smiled and looked around, and then he spotted a large tree that reminded him of the one in his room. Ragnarok smiled at it, walked over to it, and then he layed down in the soft grasses growing at its roots. The wolf looked at the wilderness below him again, leaning against the tree and feeling its energy flowing into him. He blinked slowly, though he didn't feel sleepy, and he stayed there quietly, wondering who he would see that day.

Layla was sitting watching a butterfly fly around her not far away her cuts and bruises not completly healed

Ragnarok's ear flicked around towards Layla. He looked over at her quietly, and he observed her cuts.

Layla raised her head slightly her nose picking up a scent she looked towards his direction warily

Ragnarok looked at her for a moment more, and then he stood and quietly made his way over to her.

Layla pinned her ears slightly not sure if she should make a run for it

Ragnarok came to a stop in front of her. He stared down at her, and then he smiled at her warmly. "What are you doing in this forest?" he asked her calmly.

Layla looked up at him "i am just here" she said in her young voice

Ragnarok observed her quietly, his red eyes changing to a soft orange. He sniffed her face and then looked at her cuts again.

Layla stiffened when he sniffed her not being used to other wolves "i treated them " she said swishing her tail

Ragnarok pulled back a little and smiled at her. "You did a good job, too..." he said quietly, then thought for a moment. He brought his nose close to one of her cuts and then he closed his eyes. The wounds on Layla healed themselves quickly, and that's when Ragnarok pulled back again.

Layla looked in wonder at them "h...how did you do that" she said cocking her head

Ragnarok smiled at Layla. "It's just a trick I learned," he told her, then sat down nearby.

Layla lied down "can you do other stuff" she said in amazment

Ragnarok chuckled and smiled at her. "I can do many things," he told her, then flicked his ear around silently.

Layla lied her head down on her paws " like what" she said curiously "please tell me"

Ragnarok looked at her with a tilted head. He stayed quiet for a moment, then he closed his eyes. A small plant appeared from the ground near Layla.

Layla giggled swating the plant lightly with her front paw 'thats so cool"

Ragnarok smiled and opened his eyes slightly, looking at the plant. It grew taller and then formed a bud at the top where a flower appeared suddenly.

Layla looked up at it "its beautifull" then she playfully pounced on it giggling but making sure she didnt ruin it

Ragnarok chuckled a little and looked around. He looked up at the tree quietly, feeling its energy once more.

Ragnarok looked at Layla and nodded slightly. "My name is Ragnarok. And you are Layla, I believe.." he said, quietly smiling at her.

Layla gazed at him "how did you know" she said fighting back a yawn
